Applications for the new cycle of ZICER acceleration programs are closed!

ZICER’s acceleration programs run for 6 months, from June to December, and include weekend bootcamps with thematic workshops, mentoring, regular meetings with the coordination team, networking events, in-kind and financial support, trips to leading global startup programs, a pitch competition and showcase at the Zagreb Connect startup conference, integration into the largest startup community in Croatia, and continuous support.

Total financial fund for the Startup Factory, Growth, Global, and Deep Tech acceleration programs:

300,000 EUR

& in-kind support.

All teams and startups entering the program have the opportunity to receive 5,000 EUR at the beginning of the program. The maximum amount of financial support per startup is 50,000 EUR.

Startup Factory

Have a high-tech idea or an early prototype, and just starting out on your startup journey?

You can apply if:

you have a team or startup less than 1 year old
you are developing a tech product

By the end of the program, you will have an excellent pitch and pitch deck, a developed idea, and an MVP. You will work with mentors, participate in bootcamps, and be part of the largest startup community in Croatia.

The best teams will win financial support and participation in programs of globally recognized accelerators.

Have a proven concept? Now scale it!

ZICER Growth is for startups that have moved past the idea stage and are ready to grow.

You can apply if:

your startup is between 1 and 3 years old
you are developing a deep tech/high tech solution

By the end of the program, you will have an excellent pitch and pitch deck, start your next development phase, work with mentors, participate in bootcamps, and be part of the largest startup community in Croatia.

The best teams will win financial support and participation in programs of globally recognized accelerators.

Your startup has traction and you want to open up new markets?

You can apply if:

you have a software or B2B SaaS startup less than 5 years old, or a hardware startup less than 7 years old
your focus is on the next investment round and breaking into new (international) markets

By the end of the program, you will have held meetings with key people in your target (international) market, received mentor advice, participated in a masterclass, developed a sales deck, pitched to investors, and joined the ZICER hub.

Want to turn your scientific research into a commercial product?

You can apply if:

you have a team or startup whose project originated from scientific research
your focus is on developing a deep tech/high tech solution

By the end of the program, you will develop a founder’s mindset. You will participate in bootcamps, learn how to communicate the impact of your research, take the first steps toward turning it into revenue, and begin the go-to-market process.
